Our Vision
Bringing art to the blackfeet
Recognizing the isolation and socio-economic challenges on the Blackfeet Reservation, Blackfeet at HeART is dedicated to making available art supplies and art opportunities in hopes of elevating the human spirit through creative expression.
Through financial contributions and donations of art supplies we have been able to offer:
- Supplies to the individual
- Supplies to teachers and their classrooms
- Workshops
- Mentorships
- Art contests
- Support to programs promoting Blackfeet heritage and art therapy
Founders
Sue Cox and Susan Fletcher joined forces to bring about a change between cultures. Art is a platform that speaks all languages. Blackfeet at HeART is committed to building meaningful relationships between the people of the Flathead Valley and the Blackfeet Reservation.
